Instead of spouting off with my fingers I'm going to reccommend that you go to the individual species' boards.
I learned a lot here.

For pike i would try big tubes on the bottom,or big jerkbaits.Jigs and deep diving crankbaits are usually pretty good for walleyes. For bass i would use senkos ,spinners or crankbaits

Where about on the Chenango are you fishing?  Just wondering, as I fish from Shurburne down to Oxford...I'm going to float it sometime this year if you're interested in coming along.  I've found that rivers are most effectively fished by boat, because of the way the fish position themselves.  There are some BIG pike, walleyes and smallies in there...I've also heard of people getting channel cats from certain spots.  I've also caught a few real big perch in there...although they were all snagged when pike fishing.  ::)

a 3 inch curlytail grub or a 3 inch tube with a 1/8 oz jighead will catch almost anything.  Work it downstream through pools.  Also try small topwaters in the evening for bass.

I try to fish that stretch of river each year at least once.  We drift 4-6 miles by canoe and primarily fish with stonies and a fly rod.  We've done very well fishing for walleyes on that river in the past.  We rarely fish from the canoe though since the water we're typically fishing is 4-6fow, and we don't want to spook the fish.  I think i've got my eye on a stretch on the Chemung this year, so i may not make it to the Chenango.

Good Luck when you get out, but i'd wait for the water to clear a little!

I fish the shores of the Hudson on occasion and have good luck dead sticking a Zoom Fluke on a 3/0 or a 4/0 rigged weightless.  Cast to any structure you may have available and let it slowly sink and drift.  Also DT 10 and DT 16's, depending on depth.  Good luck.
