lol, i hate those allstate guys, except slip of course thats the company of the lady that t-boned my wife, nothing but a hassle with them, the accident was july 11th, i just got the check yesterday i would never go with them, i was in a accident 5 years ago with a progressive customer, i had my check right away, heck i had my check in less time than it took allstate to get out and lookat my van

of course im sure further upstate they are on the ball

I was in an accident that totaled my pickup - but was someone elses fault.  I waited to buy a new one for the check to come in.  In the mean time, I had a rental.  The rental went past the limits on the other persons insurance (30 days), but I still didn't have a check.  I was expecting about $8000 to put down on the replacement truck, so I waited.  When the check came, I had the new truck the next day and turned in the rental.

I had to fight for a long time with both my and her insurance companies to get the money for the rental past 30 days.  It was several hundred dollars.  They drug their feet on getting me a check, and I was supposed to pay for the extra rental time.  I did eventually get the money, but it was a pain in the ass.

Another reason I like ice fishing is that the bears are hibernating several hundred miles east or west of where I fish. I only need a defender for when those wild snowmobiles charge. I guess I could take my wife along. Her nagging would keep a herd of charging Rhinos away. Hope she  doesn't see this.

It's a good thing that she doesn't trust less than five feet of good hard ice. I can leave the ear plugs out when ice fishing.

Good shooting. Tough to hold your cool when they run at ya eh? I got to within about 12 feet of one tonight and whacked him in the face with a blunt tip when he got lippy. There's too many around. What did he weigh in at? He looks like a decent size.

Legalities? We're alllowed 2 per year up here. I don't buy a tag but I would shoot one if it came for me. The one tonight, he just kept coming while I was trying to keep quiet. He smelled me at about 20 feet and started snapping his jaws. That was about the point I had enough and whacked him when he didn't stop coming. He's not dead, he'll just have a wicked headache for a week or so.

Not sure, didn't weigh him. But over 250lbs due to the way he felt when lifting onto the trailer.
Yes there sure is alot of them this year. Seem to be coming out of the woodwork.

Saw another 3 yesterday out in the reid lake area. I keep seeing the angry ones. Got bluffed from about 70 yards while I was standing beside my car. I better buy a tag if they keep coming after me
