how do u freeze baits. i mean what do u add to the water to put it in the frezzer. also how long do they last

What do you intend to freeze??  Smelt?  Shiners?  ???

Try curing them in a kosher salt brine. Mix salt & water till the salt starts coming out of solution.  Let them soak in that a day or two, then put a days fishing worth in a ziplock along with some brine, and put in freezer. Freezing without brining makes them soft and they will fall apart quickly on the hook.
