What type of tackle box are you using? Old plastic tackle boxes? I found with my old tackle boxes i used to use when i was much younger i had more rust prblems but now a days i dont have ny rust at all.. I use soft tackle boxes with plastic holding boxs..I Never put away lures with any hamng stuff on them like weeds etc as most people wouldnt.. i would also try to reduce any water left on them or dry them up when you use them? Just replace the hooks that are rusty...Rust is like cancer it will spread. Anyhow thats all i can tell ya as i dont have much in the way of problems of rust anymore. Are they cheap lures? miight be the quality of hooks the company is using? Not sure! Tight lines and good luck!
