Son and I decided to head to the ocean one more time.

Road kill along way. Dont usually see bear kills as they are tougher and wander off in bush to curl up and die. Looks like direct head hit.

What happened to the achilles-new boat?

Moved up to a 3.5 foot longer and 6 inch wider boat. Unfortunately its a pvc though and not like my older hypalon achilles boat. One of those rock cod punctured the pvc with its fin so had to do an easy repair job. Sure can fit more in the new boat. Will see how it stands up to the ocean. I think I will devise a board to flop down on side to help with release of prickly rock cod.

Those are some great pics Terry!!  Those halibuts are cool. I want to make it out to BC for those big white sturgeon in the Frasier someday!!

Don't come out bud unless you can return many more years after that. Do it once and you will be wanting to come back for more......very very addicting
