whitney point spillway walleye

Anyone fished there recently? Is the Fall bite on?
Also I never see a boat or Kayak under the spillway, is that area restricted for boating? It would be nice if we can get a boat there and avoid all the snags.

I was wondering the same thing, a lot shorter drive for me than going to Oneida.
You can fish out of a boat, but you cannot be upstream of the buoy, which is about 100 yds downstream of the spill way,
they will bust you for sure, almost guaranteed.

I may go there this weekend and report back here.
