Catfish Seminar @ Connecticut Outfitters!!!
« on: Jun 19, 2009, 08:14 AM »
On Thursday, June 25th at 7:00pm Connecticut Outfitters will be hosting a Catfish Seminar presented by Matt Schoell (a.k.a. Channel Matt).
For those that are familiar with Matt, your already aware that Matt routinely catches fish over 10lbs and 99% of his fishing trips are for Channel Catfish on the Connecticut River. Matt has put together methods and tactics for fishing for channel cats throughout the spring, summer and fall seasons, in high water or low water conditions. He will be spending about an hour discussing his methods and showing off the tackle he uses for success and he will also be sharing photos and stories.
After the presentation, Matt will answer questions from the audience.

Please call the shop at 860-571-8986 or stop by to get yourself signed up and reserve a seat.

This is gonna be a great seminar so don't miss your opportunity to learn how to become a successful catfish angler!

Matt really is a catfishing machine (unless i'm in the boat  :D ) and has posted tons of reports and pics over the years from the CT river. He regularly puts guests and friends on big cats too.

Here's a pic from last year's Portland Marina's annual catfish tourney. Matt won it with this 14.25lb channel cat!
We think Matt is related to Sasquatch or a Yeti due to his height and build, so the pic doesn't do the catfish justice.

Slow fishing is better than no fishing.
