Galway Lake, NY

Just wondering if anyone has ever fished Galway Lake, a fairly small private lake in Saratoga County.

nope, private, no way to get on  but I heard there are some nice perch.

My family has several camps there and I fish it often. I was just seeing if anyone else has ever fished it that could give me some of their walleye pointers. I have caught some eyes there and seen some nice ones but they are few and far between, doesn't seem to be a consistent way to bring them in. There are some nice perch, bass and crappies in there and as you can tell by my name, a ton of small stunted pickerel.

A friend of mine owns a camp on the shore of the lake, I believe it is actually Lake Road.  I have fished from his shore and taken a couple of largemouth and a whole bunch of pickerel.  I think I was better off fishing from shore because there was so much boat traffic, you could have walked end to end and not gotten wet.  His road was just past the pizza place on Rte 29(Galway Pizza???), go to the top of the hill and take a left.  It looped to the right and down to the lake.  I believe the northern end. There are a bunch of fish, tight lines.
