Some Carpin Yesterday

Me & JiggerJim hit the North Branch lookin to catch a few carp. A few is all we got. Three total. One 28in & 13 lbs, one 30.5 in 16 lbs & one 33 in & 16 lbs. Jim had a few fish break off on him or we would have totaled more. Real nice day with light winds & cool temps. We fished from 7 AM 'till 6 PM. Some pics.

Nice ones guys. I'll have to get out soon and try for a few of them myself. Love fighting them.

We were just using sweet corn threaded on a #4 hook. Cheap fishin.

I Got to take my kids carpin, they would have a blast.  What do you guys think the
best carp bait is.  I fished for carp before using corn meal and had some luck.  just
curious if there is any other bait options other than night crawlers, corn, or corn
meal.
