Tobin Lake
« on: Jun 21, 2011, 06:50 AM »
I'm going on a houseboat for a weekend on Tobin Lake, the first part of July. I haven't fished Tobin since I was a kid and have never done it from a houseboat. What at the chances of catching fish from a house on the water??? Does anyone know of any good spots to take a big boat and just cast for walleye or pike?
Any info would be great, not sure any of the guys going know much about Tobin so thought I'd do some research. Thanks.

Not likely to get much of a response here.  You should head over to fishingsaskatchewan and you should get a better response.

a buddy from work was up there 2 weeks ago on a houseboat, and he said between 8 guys over 3 days they only caught a small pike and perch, he said they were very limited with where they could go.

Thanks for the info. That's kind of what I expected but the guy arranging the trip wasn't going to bring a bunch of food cause he was thinking we'd live off fish for 2 days!
