Finally some Lakers!

Just got back from a great first fish with Laker2011 and Bass_Belt, and boy they we're lying about having the Laker's dialed in on Loborough!  I've been there a dozen times and never pulled out a laker, and those boys put us on them right away!  Laker2011 took the best catch of the day, although BassBelt had a beauty that threw the hook at the boat.  I finally got my first laker EVER
The boys even let me take home the whole load home for dinner   we pulled in 5 or 6 total, and kept 4 decent eaters, pics to follow when I empty my phone.  Great time lads, hope we can get out again sometime soon and thanks for sharing your skills and honeyhole, we need more guys like you on this board!

It was a great morning for sure, I just wish I didn't lose that beast at the boat!

I'm glad we were able to put you on your first lakers and to share our honey hole with you!

I'm going to download the pics Laker2011 took and I'll send em to you tomorrow!

I can't find the mini-SD to SD card adapter to offload my pics from the phone, I'm hoping Bass_belt will post some up soon.  

I cooked those up on the grill with some butter, green onions, lemon and garlic...mmmmmm, thanks for the fish!

Sorry I haven't posted them yet, completely forgot (babysat for a friend most of the weekend then got busy doing house stuff on Sunday). I'll post them later tonight!

finally empied out the phone, here's the lakers.  They got a odd "stripe" after sitting in a bag on the way home waiting to be cleaned.

I find they get that discoloration too. Have never seen that happen on any other species but I guess it's normal for these guys.
