If there ain't much conversation about a particular fishin' hole, it's probably because those catching fish have clammed up.

On the other hand, I just got back from 10 days away from home (a couple spent fishing), and wasn't able to get on the 'net during that time.  So no visits to MFF forum during that time frame for me.

Just sayin', there can be many and varied reasons for not posting.

not much fishing here between work and a 9 month old and wife works weekend  so i just read post about it  until, trust  little man is walking and then i am off fishing again , Me and my oldest are going crazy not being able to go at a drop of a hat

I've been building a new house a mile from little res....... and haven't soaked a worm ANYWHERE since ice off.  It sucks.  Everyday all the farmers come into the store and taunt me with walleye stories.  I have about another month or two until I'm done with my place, then it's ON.  So I lurk in the mean time and secretly hate all of you...

I think that is just the nature of the Internet in general.  It's a research tool.  I've watched hundreds of YouTube videos on everything from fishing to raising backyard chickens.  I've never felt a need to give back by posting my own videos.  Forums aren't much different it's just the nature of the beast.  The owner creates the platform, members create the content, and  sponsors pay the bills in hopes that the members and lurkers will buy their product. If you appreciate a website like this then it is helpful to contribute content.  It's even more helpful to support the sponsors.
