Neoprene waders

I picked up a pair of chest high neoprene wader the other day which I have been wanting for a long time.  Any advise/expierience as far as care/maintainance for them ?

Store them hanging upside down. You might want to invest in some chaulkers. They'll help keep you from sliding on stream and river rocks. You can then put them on your boots and use them for the same thing ice fishing. Good luck with them.

If they are bootfoot once they dry its a good idea to fold them up like you bought them, if you dont, eventually where the neoprene meets the rubber boot top starts to leak .... once that happens use 'Shoe Goo' and that'll give you a couple more years after 3 pairs over 30 years i finally went with stocking foot ... just saying ....good luck with them

I use these: http://www.peetshoedryer.com/ on my waders and on my hiking boots and pack boots. You can buy the standard size them buy the extenders to use with your waders. Nice thing is putting on warm and dry waders the next day after sitting in them waist deep in a swamp for a few hours. Like anything, getting the moisture completely out ASAP will add to longevity of the boot/wader.

I find that if I wear some sweat pants over my jeans that I stay warmer and dryer. I have seen some pants like this with stirrups sewn in to keep them from riding up.
