Well yesterday I crossed off #1 on my list... Picked up a 2008 Smokercraft Pro Angler 171 with a 90 horse Evinrude E-tec on the back.  And of course today I woke up to 1" of snow on the ground. Just hope its nice next weekend so I can start feeling this thing out! Big step up from my old 1967 14foot Sears!

Fish a lot!  Yellowstone, Horn, Stillwater, Peck, and TRR will get most my attention as usual but would like to give a little more effort in fishing Cooney and Yellowtail this year.

Hillbilly, we need to hook up at Tiber some weekend.......hardwater normally isn't far away either........

Would love too but my wife is retiring from the Air Force in a few months so me and my family will be returning to her home and family in eastern Nebraska; but I am sure I will find a few spots to fish there too. Being military and moving so much, you try to not get too attached to "outdoor" spots but I sure have found some places here in Montana that I will always remember and am sure I will miss. Good luck this year and don't be scared to slowly troll some bottom bouncers dragging worm harnesses tipped with a FULL crawlers on Tiber.  ;)

But I do.........LOL.  And I do it just like Hillbilly says..... ;D   But I did find other presentations that seemed to work better on Tiber..... ::)

Hillbilly, feel free to PM me all those spots you've discovered during your stay.......no point in letting them go to waste...... 8) :thumbup_smilie: :flag: :whistling:

I do run them every now and then, but always with single hooks.  I just never noticed much of a difference, except that perch came and ruined my whole nightcrawlers more often  :-\

I'm ready to get out there, we need a week of showers and 60 degrees.   ;D ;D ... Too bad I know that's not happening  :'(

Well got the boat controls fixed and will be firing it up on Friday with the garden hose. Hopefully everything stored well and will be on Flathead this weekend. Get the kinks worked out before paddler season.

1.  Finally get my boat running right
2.  Catch a 40 inch NY Northern-I catch one every 5 years, this year will be five years since that last one which was very skinny, hopefully it's a fat pig this year.

Hope to get my boat out more than 1 or 2 times which has seemed to be the standard for me the last three or four years!  Starting to wonder why I even own the d**n thing!  LOL

Hope to get to TRR and Hell Creek to see if I can get my kids and the wife their first pike!
