The BB guns fish fine as an alternative. However the copper on Moosalamoo lures tarnishes quickly. Even when dried after use before storing. Clear coating is a must
I got some bb guns and DB's at KTP a few weeks ago, the BB gun fished better than the DB but I think I paid 4 bucks for the BB gun, still a bit much for what it is IMO.

all the bbguns that I had bought in the last few years have tarnished....have to break out the tooth paste and brush them up....either that or tape over them.

The Savant's that they had there (Kittery ) looked real nice...the finish looked excellent!!!! Picked up a couple of top guns and db's

I don't see much difference in catch rates between the two. I think it is more of a profile thing with the DB's and BB's than it is action. They have a very smelty profile. A small siwash really kick up there action and expands the low range trolling.
