ive been catching a lot of burbot out of the Missouri river at the mountain palace fishing access area. and a few below holter dam.

I've had luck on the whole stretch between mountain palace and ulm too but I've done all my ling fishin at night in the winter. I haven't heard od anyone catchin em in warmer weather. But if you do let me know. That's good eatin

You can catch them below hauser dam at nite with suck meat or minnows in the deeper pools down by where the fly fisherman conjugate. Bring lots of tackle though. Kinda tough fishn till u get the flow figured out.

iv done real well apr,may,and june at the causeway best time is at night u can still get one or two through out the day. that only if u want to stay there all day i use a 1/4 oz up to 1/2 oz glow in the dark jig with smelt

I keep hearin about those glow jigs but I can't find em at scheels or big r. And is there anywhere else that they bite in the spring and summer that I can get to without a boat

i bought my glow jigs at walmart. if ur on a lake in a boat look 4 deep water and work ur way up to the shallows. they are really a night fish you have to find the school or play the waiting game. when they are spawning(spring time) look in the shallows. after that i stop targeting them water becomes to warm never caught many after the spawn p.s. i only fish them at night good luck

I caught my limit of ling at mountain palace last weekend fishing off the rocks using dead minnows cut into pieces. ive caught a few ling during summer months and late spring at the wind dam just outside of cascade.
