Flounder
« on: Aug 16, 2014, 02:54 PM »
Doing the salt w/ my son soon. Would like to fish stripers at night but he's off to work early in the am. so it would have to be a weekend day trip.  I'm thinking flounder but haven't heard much about flatties this year. Just looking to get out on the salt w/ him, but catching a few fish would make the day.

Thanks in advance, Bob

1100am hi tide next Sat. I'd say you can still catch some in Hampton Harbor.
Set up in Harbor 150 yards off the point towards the right of the powerplant.
Just on the other side of the heavy current. Chum and catch em. the river has been
full of schoolies also.
