LAKE ALICE EYES

Anyone ever do any eyes there ?  it was stocked many years ago but never tried
it. looks like a good lake  and deep right from the shore out. might like to give it a try.

Several years back, I heard that they are taken on rare  occasion and put in a few good days trolling the deepest areas with a spinner / worm harness on the bottom and a rapala suspended mid depth. No luck. If you know where the big sunken tree is, you’re better of sitting on it and picking off some crappies. Also, they do take the odd walleye in the turbulent water up the road at the spillway of the dam, however this is usually prior to the open season.

hey kap which lake alice are you referring to? is it the one north of Plattsburgh?

went by the ramp at L. Alice yesterday and the docks weren't in yet so ended up going to Glenwood. No eyes but did get a few nice crappie. Sunken tree in Alice ?  anyone willing to give approx area ?
