That's one awesome boat!  Must be something knowing that with care some day your grandkids will be fishing out of a boat you took so much time and effort to make.

Thanks guys, im not sure what it weighs exactly- around 800-900 lbs max, it screams with the 40 horse. I used marine grade fir and meranti for the bright work. I was actually debating the sale of the boat, but im not sure I could ever bring myself to sell it, plus I dont know what its worth to someone else, but a nice ocean fishing boat with a canopy enclosure sure would be nice, but I know I would forever regret it.

At the ripe old age of 23, ive got a long time till any of my grand kids see it  ;D

I problably have 400-500 hours into it, but ive changed the layout twice as well (center console to side console), it would take about 200 hours for me to build it as a side console to start with. As for money? I hate to even think about that, roughly $8000 including engine and trailer no electronics. As you can see, its not cheaper to build, but I sure get everyones attention at least!

Now thats a very nice looking boat. Nobody wants to think what they cost but knowing that you built it and it works is worth a lot also. I like the upgrades very nice job. Not to sure that I could do something like that, me and wood don't get along to well. I did go to the local county fair and talked with a guy who made wood canoes and I have to tell you they were extremely nice. You guys have my respect I know I couldn't do that, at least not with wood.
