Well Boyz and Gals i have heard enough Pms from you guys about me not showing my pics or even trying... The emails have been nasty!!! LOL ANyhow so I decided to at least make a ditch effort for a toothy critter...
The offical weight on thiis guy was 12 pounds. HE was 3 feet Long
Fished for a hour.... Was using other tactical lures for the time slot i fished in... NEarish to noonish i would say... ANyhow i decicded to bring out my ol fatithful lure and First cast (and she was a long cast i decided to retrieve it not How the manafacture would like u to but more with quick pulls then a slight drop...anyhow withing about 10 seconds this ol baby hit... SHe was a heavey at first which made me belive i had snagged a carp... BEcasue she didnt have that HEad jerk like Pike usually have.... ANyhow Started to bring her in then she DOve down to the bottom and hugged the weeds a bit... I horsed her back up I wasnt to sure what exactly i had on my line to be honest... becasue she was a bit far out and i didnt have a visual yet and like explained she hadnt acted like pike usually do for me... ANyhow after about 3 mins of her slugging in i finanly got one of those head jerks like im used to... I knew she was a pike then.... Thats when the Panic set in a bit.. LOL No leader) Its ok because i trust my FIRE Line that much... ANyhow SHe was beggingign to get tired (or so i thought) she came to the surface and was within 10 feet from shore... Thats when shepullled and tailed lashed and went for round 2.... She only went about 30 feet or so... i let my reel just go backwards instead of using auto drag... IT was manuallly for me on this adventure... ANyhow like i said she didnt go far before i horsed her back near shore again... SHe did the same trick one more time... spalshed and swirled around but this time tired out in 10 feet,.... I knew she was getting there... so i guided her to a spot on the shore where the rocks wernt so hard... and thats when she started to flip out... and i mean litereally she flipped off the rocks back to the water... then i had to reel again and Horse her up onto shre....
Of course my pliers were at home .... ITs always the way it is... never there when you need them.....
ANyhow THe Hook was embdded into her lip plate so badly that it was already cracked then she broke my lure apon another flip... SO i decided she would become bar-b-que for tonite....
That was her punsihment for breaking my lure!!!!
THe RUler picture didnt take. but she was 3 feet even... sorry gang... TOok the shot just for some reason the SMart card didnt hold it... or battery problem?? Not sure...
ANyhow at least you got a pic from me this morth so LEAVE me alone lol!!!!
