Les Culp Outdoors and Trapper Report
« on: Jul 08, 2006, 08:13 PM »
Well I once again had the pleasure of sharing a day on the water yesterday with the Culp boys and fish we do . They are always into helping me kick the big guy's arse Largie 69 and go right along with seeing dear old dad get razzed and teased . LOL ;D If you ever get the chance to spend a day with this threesome on the ice or on the open water you will know what I'm talking about .

It's Les JR and Randy that I truly admire and Les SR has taught them well . Les jr is 8 and Randy is just above 6 and boy can these kids cast . A real credit to the old big man Largie 69 . Kids and casting in same boat and close to me always make me nervous but not these two . H3LL I have to watch their old man more . ;) ;D . I will honestly say that these two young lads impress me so much that I take joy in the fact they have the heart to keep it going to share our love of the outdoors . They are real deal and can stick it out for almost 12 hrs on the lake and cast better than most and in reality are so young but got it .

Anyways the report and pics . We caught quite a few bass and pike on a pressured lake and even though I took only a few pics of bass we got some nice ones but sure had some fun in the Stratos with the boys and etched in my memory .

Taking off with lads Lester ( largie 69) Les JR and Randy .

Les jr with solid 4 lb smallie

Les sr giving some guidance as a 4 pounder plus is fought to the boat. You will have to trust me but Les SR didn't have his hands on the rod even though pic may misconstrue that . The young lad got da fish . ;D

Young Randy showing off another .

Great report TD!!
Nice to see the wee lads pulling in hogs....and all by themselves.
The smile on their face is almost as rewarding as the fish in the boat!!

Great post TrapperD !  It's great to see a Dad out on the water doing more teaching than fishing, hats off to Les Sr. !  I can't wait until my little ones can join me on the water and I can do the same !
