Catch and Release
« on: Apr 09, 2004, 09:20 AM »
I was reading a post on another forum by Aaron and I could not agree with him more. He was talking about the meat hungry anglers out there that review our posts and do not promote catch and release. If there is anglers that post to this forum that do this I must shake my head. I always promote catch and release. I will keep my meal than the rest go back. I only curse under my breath when I see the vulture anglers out there. You are no bettter than the people that net the fish that are not commercial fisherman. Personally besides using our fees to help aerate our lakes the governement should aslo look at training and putting more Conservation officers out there. Just my two cents worth. ::)

I agree, lake357 and I always keep only what we are going to eat. The rest go back. I caughta 21" rainbow yesterday and it went back! Don't eat the big ones, let it go for someone else! 8) 8) 8)
teach a man to fish and he'll play with his fly all day!
