I wish I lived closer to you, I'd try to help you out somehow! I remember being your age without wheels from time to time, it sucks! Hang in there man! I did my share of walking as a kid. Get a used 10 speed bike, that's what I had for fishing! GOOD LUCK!

I feel your pain buddy. My transmission gave out in my truck and its $2500.00 to replace and with the economy trhe way it is  now looks like it will be a while before she tows my boat. although I just ordered a receiver hitch for my wifes mini-van (my boat is small). Now I just gotta get her a bike to get to get work. ;D ;D. Although the van limits some of my more primitive places I launch due to no 4 wheel drive..

Dan Lais I'm not sure about the fishing in Afganistan, by looking at a map I'm not sure how I can get an Aircraft Carrier into that country, but fishing off the coast of Florida, all over Virginia, Washington State and even Italy, off the coast of Africa and South America is awesome...Peacock Bass down in Panama that I did last year was awesome...

I was stationed over in Sardinia and there was this reservoir loaded with Largemouth Bass and Yellow Perch that were blue I'll look for a picture of one...You could only fish from shore or from one of those inflatable tubes with flippers that people use for fly fishing...it was pretty cool, my buddy from PA and I use to go quite a bit...

my tranny had to be replaced a year ago too. it was $2300. it happened about a week after i was looking at a new truck. i think my truck was upset at me and got me back for cheating on her. oh well, i forked over the money and we've had a great relationship since.

Yup!  Find a Chick with a car-  I remember back in college I was dating 5 chicks at once (for a short time I couldn't keep all the lies straight ;D)  anyway they either let me drive there cars or they gave me rides all over the place.  If one couldn't do it I called the next....., Did I say couldn't DO IT ? :o

I say make your way to the lake. Someway or somehow. The tougher it is to get there- The sweeter the feeling when that line goes tight.
The angle of the dangle is directly proportionate to the heat of the beat.
