Just a quick post for you trout lovers. Went to Cedar last night, wasn't real fast action but we took home 5 along with one jumbo perch. Surface was 76, fish were caught in about 20 feet.

are you refering to tri lakes past busco? if so i have caught some nice trout there in the past just after dark with wiggler worms. this time of year they are deep but very willing to bite. last time i fished for trout there was 2 years ago and 4 of us limited in 2 hours. i'm not to fond of trout or salmon but sure do love the fight. my buddy donnie dew was just talking about trout, if you would like to get together some time and put a hurting on them send me a pm

Yup, Tri Lakes. I've done most of my trout fishing early in the season, this may have been the latest I've been. In April this year me and another guy limited in about an hour. You can get on em pretty easy April through June. I usually use berkely trout bait near the bottom and/or spinners if they are still shallow.
Have you ever had them smoked, that's the only way to eat them.

No, but I would like to. I caught some this spring and baked them. They were alright, but not exactly my favorite.
