Hollywood, were them gills full of black grub larvae? The one pic seems to have a lot of black spots, but hard to tell?

It does kind of look like grubs. I think it's the bloom at the end of the pond that the fish was dragged through. It looks like it's all over his jig too.
The angle of the dangle is directly proportionate to the heat of the beat.

Naw, that fish just rolled in a lil dirt before the pic, those fillets were nice & clean. I printed out some info for the owner on managing a pond that size I found on one of the DNR sites, haven't found the in-fisherman article yet, but I will. Somehow, a few larger bass need to wind up in there..... ;D

Thanks for the reply HW, I was just wondering cause as I remember telling ya, that small lake I grew up on gets them, but not too bad!

go to the pet store and get as many goldfish as you can as small as you can if theres any in there they start multiplieing big
