Take the canoe to gate 6 at the CHU. That is the best place to launch it. You should do really good there. We were out there last week and got a lot of big lakers out about 100 yards.

I know you can't put a boat in the Chu but thanks for the tip ::). I am going somewhere else with the Canoe.

I like using the cartopper on Buffumville in Oxford / Charlton.  From Webster drive up Rt 12 towards Auburn, take a left in Oxford center and follow the signs to the boat launch.

Easy in / easy out, close to where you live, beautiful scenery, decent fishing.

For the best fishing, go to A1 in Westborough.

fishing near the causeway sucks! to many people that dont know what they are doing and it is like they said a place for crap fish. I would stick to either the 110 side or 70 side.  If you fish it enough you will find spts that work.

Ok thanks bro. You've been alot of help lately, I appreciate it. Hopefully I can snag a real fish today.

Maybe sometime I can get you back somehow for the help. My parents own a big house on the Saco River (saco is their backyard). Maybe sometime I can repay with a fishing trip on the Saco lol Hard to repay someone when they know more about everything then you do though lol

Isn't gate 36 closed to fishing. I thought 35 and 6 were the last fishable gates nearest to the dam

Didn't catch a fish but I had 2 runs. 1 he just spit it out after about 4 seconds and the other ran hard with it and i set the hook but he got himself free halfway in.

We fished at gate 10. There were fish jumping every few minutes all around us.
