Summer time LING!
« on: May 10, 2010, 12:21 AM »
I know the burbot are tougher to catch in open water :-\  But I am looking to go for them anyway. Does anyone know where they may be hiding?

I think they grow wings and fly north for the summer??????? I've never heard of anyone catching a ling in open water (not saying it hasn't happened)

TRY 3-5" MINNOWS ON THE BOTTOM @ PECK OR DROP THE SAME OVER THE SIDE OF THE BOAT DOWN ABOUT 25-40' AND LEAVE ALONE @ BIGHORN LAKE.  SHOULD ALSO WORK @ CLARK CANYON, ALTHOUGH I'VE NEVER TRIED TO FISH FOR LING THERE.  BETTER CHECK IF LIVE BAIT IS ALLOWED AT CLARK - OH
