What a great evening!
A bunch of anglers came out to hear Narducci talk at CTO last night. Paul did an excellent job keeping everyone engaged during his talk.  Focusing on the CT River, LMB, SMB, and Pike below Haddam, Paul shared a lot of valuable tips, tactics, and info.  Specifically, he shared many (but not all) of his favorite baits like Stanley Ribbit Frogs, Lunker city Ozmo with a twist, and some really cool buzz baits.  He also spoke about accessing backwaters off the beaten path.  MANY, MANY freebee's were distributed and raffled off, like softplastics, spinnerbaits, motor oil, and even some trailer hitch covers from Reynolds Marine.
Paul also included many of his own ethical beleifs about our sport which showed us without a doubt, this guy is righteous and sincere about what he does.
We're very glad to have hosted him last night, and hope that he would return again someday for those of you who missed it.

Remeber, NEXT THURSDAY, we will welcome Elcapitanmas who will provide us with some of the secrets for really scoring huge linesiders on the CT River, CATFISH STYLE!
Call the shop or stop by to register!

Ethan just contacted me. He is stoked about his new presentation that he just finished. Ethan and his fish partner Jaque boated the winning Cat last year in the CT river Cat Tourney that was held north of Hartford. Ethan has been seeking out Big Cats on the CT River for years and has quite a good run of hefty catches. I personally expect to learn quite a lot.   The river is open for fishing RIGHT NOW TODAY! And the number of species being caught right now in it is amazing (YPerch, W Perch, Cats, Stripers, Crappie, Walleye, Northerns, LMB, SMB, and more) The launch at Weth Cove has trailers there daily now. And we expect our first delivery of sandworms Friday morning. I still have room for more anglers this Thursday, so just call the store (860-571-8986) to register or stop by in person, 512 Silas Deane Hwy, wethersfield.

Ethan did a slammin great job! There were over 25 guys, and the presentation went about 2 hours. The new Power point was a hit. I put a few pics up on our FB page.Check it out.
This week THURSDAY, Iain Sorrell of Saxxon tackle and Angling Solutiuons LLC, will be in at 7pm with a talk about one of the biggest, strongest, regularly predicable and catchable, Freshwater Trophies in the stat, the humble CARP. If you've never experienced the power of a carp on the business end of your line, you really must check it out. They are amazing fighting fish, and 20lbers are common catches.
Call 860-571-8986 or stop by the shop to sign up for the seminar!

Iain Sorrell introduces Monster Carp at CTO.

Last week Mikey Perch did a smash up job with Pike on the CT river.  This week, its time to learn about the biggest, most prevailant freshwater trophy in the united states, the carp.

Make plans to check out this presentation by one of CT's premiere Carp Trophy Anglers, Iain Sorrell.  European Carp Angling is growing at an immense pace in the states right now, and there is plenty of good reason.  These monsters fight like no other freshwater fish, are abundant, and can be caught using a wide variety of techniques and tackle.  Don't miss out on this great opportunity to learn from a real pro. This Thursday, 3/21 at 7pm in the store. IT'S FREE to attend!  Stop in to sign up or call the store at 860-571-8986.
