Seminoe?

I have been thinking really hard about making a trip to Seminoe. I just can't seem to find anyone that has fished it though to know if it's worth my time. Has anyone been walleye fishing there in the past few years or know anyone that has been there? What time of year is the best fishing on Seminoe?

It has been a very long time since I fished it, but July was considered the best time for walleyes then.  The limit was 20 at that time.

I wouldn't plan on going to Seminoe until later in the summer.  Once the walleye at Pathfinder heat up thats usually a good indication that they will be starting to heat up at Seminoe.  Usually mid to late July in the past couple years.  Could probably slay the trout up there right now though, but that's a long way to go for some slimers!!!

One of my favorite tactics for Seminoe is casting crankbaits at the rocks as early as you can get there.  You'll catch both 'eyes and trout.

fished sat, from shore, water pump out of boat, landed
10-12 dink walleye, a bunch of little rainbows, 1 20"
walleye, and 1 18' rainbow, all on live minnows
