Conn. River Carp
« on: Mar 22, 2013, 07:19 AM »
Is it worth the effort to try carp fishing on the Connecticut river, on the Vermont side between Norwich and Bradford? Are there even carp in there? What about catfish? Im talking about in the main channel, not the setbacks, BTW. I have an urge to catch some new species, those two seem like the most likely to come across.

Ive never even seen a carp in that section of river and Ive been fishing it for at least 20yrs. I think the only catfish you will find are bullhead. I do wish they would introduce channel cats  they get big and like to fight
