Still some great open water fishing to be had!!!

Will (Baitbucket) and I could not make it to the coast for stripers so we hit the Millers for some trout, with fly rods and spinning rods we both got some stocked rainbows and a few that did not look freshly stocked. With all the leaves falling in the river, big and bright was the way to go. We even stopped for a few casts on the Conn, River, with one small smally. Did not take many pics, but here are a few;

just take a couple trips to the Salmon river and then see how much fun catching a stockies is.
it easy to get the mind set that bigger is better

Well thats alot of the draw and fun of a fly rod. The fight is awesome.

But even on the fly rod in some fast moving water these trout were half asleep

Nice fish guys. This time of year if the fish aren't cooperating at your first spot move until you find em. Good job!
I'll be striper fishing for a month or more and I don't call it quits freshwater until the ice starts forming. Plenty of time left. Still some big fish to be had!

BTW, Stripernut, put up the video of you catching tuna that you posted on another site.  Good stuff!
