Two great fish!
« on: Oct 14, 2013, 10:01 AM »
I'm brand new to the site, (love iceshanty), and i thought i'd share this with u guys.  My buddy and I decided to go out after work a few days ago, only had maybe two hours to fish.  I got my best pike ever and he got his best bass ever, what are the odds of that?!.. Here's what we got!

Ya I only had 12lbs test on, it took some patience reeling it in, only approximate weights on the fish, pike was around 20lbs, bass was around 8lbs. We could only measure them with our 6" rubber worms haha. Wish I had a tape or a scale with me but oh well.. At least I got the pictures!

Nice!

If you know the length you can use this for a rough weight estimate:

  • If it was easy they would call it catching.
