Imperial split bamboo fly rod???
« on: May 19, 2014, 05:25 PM »
I was offered a vintage Imperial split bamboo fly rod recently. It has the original wooden case. The rod is useable but in only fair condition at best. I could just read the "Imperial" name on the but. Any idea if these are collectable?

when you said imperial i thought of the heddon imperial reel so googled heddon and found they made a rod for lyons and coulson called imperial,  i dont believe that a heddon rod would come with a wooden case though. try googling lyons and coulson imperial rods and see if it matches
