Trout in Monksville again?

Anybody know the story on this? A misprint? It says Monksville is getting stocked with trout on May 20. That would be nice if its true.

I heard rumor of Lake Trout.

I thought the lake trout stockings last year were supposed to be a 1 time deal to clear the tanks at the hatchery? Also, if they were stocking lakers on the 20th, why would they have it listed as a regular in season stocking?

Good questions ,if you call the hatchery they'll gladly answer them and other you can think of .

Thats what me or PikePopper is going to end up doing. If its lakers I don't see how they could stock them the same day they are stocking the Wanaque River and Clinton Res since they'd have to mix the lakers and other species trout within the stocking trucks holding tanks, wouldn't they?

I'll call em up during the week and find out for sure.

No trout for Monksville.  I emailed them and I was told the website was wrong.  Monksville has now been deleted from the list.
