Ice wise it still has some.  Hogsback and colebrook were the same yesterday.

It is a 40 minute drive to check. I posted my homework about candlewood in my back yard being open.  I thought this forum was for sharing this type of information!!!

Ya know dobbler if u asked me how the conditions are in my neighborhood i would be glad to tell you and u should do likewise. No one is taking ur honey hole just merely trying to see if its worth the long trip to some of these lakes. By the way seems everythings pretty much open in my area - Naugatuck on south

Have fun.  I am 132hp over the limit so I never go there and with quabbin so close those kokanee take a back seat to landlocked atlantics!

Yes I will be there tomorrow going for Kokanees.  For those who are going to the Hill, make sure all your paper work is in order.  The State Police, Deep and others will be on the water this week for recovery of the young women from January 2.  I will be in a green Lund with a white bemi top.  Be safe out there. :D

Kokanees in either West Hill or East Twin are on my bucket list this year. Caught them years ago in other lakes, but only as incidental catches when trolling for trout. It would be fun to catch a limit.
