If you have not heard yet, the drawbridge in MC over Trail Creek is now open. I have been out both Monday and Tuesday. Yesterday I had a nice surprise while talking to the ICO - my pole decided it was time to hook into a nice fish. Set the hook and the fight was ON!  Ended up landing - with help - a nice 10.6 lb (measured by the Creel Survey person) 29.5 inch steelhead. Also took home three average-sized cohos. (Lost one keeper because of stupidity on my part.)  Went back today in the WIND. Ended the day with a ton of dinks and three keeper cohos. One measured 19 inches. Today was a shrimp bite but at times it was a crawler bite with a small piece of shrimp on the hook. Creek and inside the break wall the water is muddy. Find the break in the mud and you find fish.

Good report!  Sounds like your doing pretty well.  I'll have to get up there and do that one day, sounds like a good time.  Could only be a better report with a pic or 2!
