ontario,ny... not far from sodus

im heading up too ontario,ny for the weekend, big 4th of july weekend party. my friend up there wants to go fishing near sodus. my questions are....
is there any boat rental places around here that anyone knows of?
wheres good places to haunt for wallys or big lake O perch?

only been to sodus a few times for ice fishing so this will be a new adventure for me!

        baybridge tackle has boats  south end by the old bridge
you can give them a call    also they will give you some info on what is biting
and where.  you can get the number from the baitshop list  good luck

Oak,  if you want to fish the lake,  (great smallie fishing) you can get bait and rental from Carey's (use to be Sodus Bay Tackle), right in Sodus Point.   Plan on fishing early as the boat traffic on the bay will probably be horrendous!!  Have Fun
