The bows are finally starting to show on some tribs we fish.  Here are a few shots for last week.

GB with a nice fresh one!

TS trying to work one out of the sticks!  Snap, gone!

Nice catch TS!

The release

Here are the old tools that help with the job!

It will only get better with the rain and cooler temps!  "Look out trout, YRF are about!"

Sweet bows man!

Sailing team

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it.

Oh Ya!  It's certainly better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick! :D :D

Awesome action shots troutslayer.  Are those fish coming out of one of the great lakes?  I see you're working em over with the trusty old Cardinal reel too.  I haven't seen one in YEARS except in your photos.  Brings back memories.

Right on SlipBob!  Nobody has matched that quality drag system on a large diameter spool reel yet!  Yup, them be Georgian Bay Bows!

Awesome pictures troutslayer.  I have a few questions though.  Is that worm wacky rigged?  Are you float fishing?

Yes, that is on my 11 foot rod, rigged wacky under a float.  Six pound Siglon V with a four pound leader below the float.

The other Fenwick is a 9.6 I use for throwing spinners.  I always carry both rods and use both (one at a time of course) depending on the pool or drift.  We cover 3 or 4 kilometers of riverbank.
