walleyes on egg sacks

has anyone tried egg sacks for walleyes. Iknow they work on trout but do they work on anything else

here in michigan ive heard of countless times when guys are fishing for steelheads with egg sacks, and catch walleyes all the time. i have never heard of anyone solely targeting walleyes with egg sacks

i have caught walleye on egg sacks in the oswego river and black river while fishing steelhead old ken

Oh yes,
They work well on walleye where the susquahanna starts in cooperstown as well. I've caught more walleye, than trout there on eggsacks.

yeah..i get alot of accidentals on the st.joes with egg patterns(fly fish)....so imagine just like stealhead..they will take food of oppurtonitiy...

very intresting eggs sacks. Thinking about it I also have heard of guys fishing for Trout in rivers and catching eyes.

If the eyes are in the rivers with the spawning trout I don't see why they wouldn't eat them. I think they'd hit just about any kind of baits if drifted right in front of them
Chasing them pigs with fins!

AK isn't coming soon enough....can't wait to fight with 1 grizzly for 100,000 fish instead of 1,000 snaggers for 10.
