I vote Salmon. I know I'm probably one of the most outspoken supporters of bass/bass fishing, but there's something about watching the rod pop and the singing of the downrigger wire that I just love. Plus, moving to K-zoo,MI and being only 35min from the big lake, I'm still new to it and love the whole learning experience.

I voted walleye. Smallies are 2nd and pike are 3rd...

Trout, but not stream trout, Lake Ontario trout in the spring when they are close to shore. Light tackle and lots of fun!

i got to vote for trout/STEELHEAD -easy to catch and put up a good fight

-- with crappies, perch, northerns,catfish ,jumbo gills and smallmouth bass comming in a close second ,then maybe walleye, sheephead and carp

Trout/Salmon in lakes and ponds. I grew up fishin the salt and there I would have to say tuna....they can burn a half mile of line in no time

Well for eating, Walleye. and also their ability to make theirself scarce. But for all out fishing fun, I gotta say Steelhead. I said once before on IS, that there is no more challenge then to stand on slippery rocks at sportsmans pool on the salmon river, and try to turn a 20 lb Steelhead on 10lb test line, my oppinion it don't get no better than that.
