Cannon Lake Troll Downriggers
« on: Mar 26, 2008, 08:29 AM »
Hi Folks-

Does anyone have any experience with Cannon Lake Troll downriggers? I'm contemplating entering the world of downriggers and thought these might be a good place to start. If it makes a difference, they will be used on an 18' Lund Alaskan.

Thanks.

Yes a friend had them.  No "I" wouldn't bother with them.  Limited lifetime warranty is just that, LIMITED!  JMan, consider going with a Scotty.  Lifetime warranty is fantastic, and they make quality products that last.  I like the adjustable booms, drag system, and spool size  they offer as well, not to mention the counter is more reliable than the Cannon.

2 cents of joy for ya! ;D
