Once you find them they are not real hard, need lots of fresh bait though,if they are busting the surface cotton cordel ripplin redfins work VERY well.

Sounds good Skipper.
Me, and the Rebelfisher were talkin' about takin' his boat up the Pack to try to get into some. We've never fished for them. We were going to try to get out last year, but never made it.
Keep us posted if you get into them.

Wanted to do panfish at Sayers but my neighbor started talking stripers I've caught them 12 months out of the year just harder to catch bait now may have buy a half dozen rainbow trout at Snyders  Run bait shop instead live trout work very well at times.

I've been going up there for 25 yrs. now. Started going up there with an older couple that a family friend knew. Went out with them for the first few years. They gave me and my father a good schooling on the trolling up there. My father bought a boat after that, and been going ever since on his boat. He's had a 24ft. Thompson the last 10 yrs. Once or twice a year, me and Rebelfisher go out on a friend's boat as well. I'm hoping by next year I will be purchasing my own boat for up there. This year my funds are going to be pretty tight. I don't think I'm going to get up there much this year. I will be there the rest of my life though. To me, there's nothing I like more than that.

Yea my wife asks me now and again if I miss going up there answer-Hell yea I miss it. But Raystown is 1 hour away and stripers are not a bad compromise.Don't have the funds, kids are going to college that is more important now they need all the help they can get.
