Looks like Officer Ferland, did you talk to him at all?  He's cool ****... full of good info on south eastern NH and fishing in the white mountains.  He also knows a thing or two about hunting birds.

James did you limit out?

I didnt keep any, but i did educate quite a few.

Knurren, the only thing i asked him was if they had stocked the isinglass yet, and he laughed and told me no.

I guess it wont be called slo-bow for the next few days, lol. Talk about right spot right time.

Some of them look very decent sized too. How many nets did he dump? Just the one?

CaptSpike, They dumped probably six nets at the ramp, and then went to the dam, and dumped some more, and then they went towards Northwood, and were back within twenty minutes dumping more at the ramp ??? thats about when i figured i looked like a real jerk fishing behind a hatchery truck and left. lol

As far as size, the ones i caught were very small, like 12" rainbows.
At least the bass will eat good.

I hit Bow lake again this morning, and caught about a dozen rainbows, and after getting bored catching the little fellas,I decided to hit the isinglass below the dam at Bow lake.

And what a mistake that was, lol, i climbed onto a rock that was about the size of my jeep, and that son of a gun rolled into the river with me on it.lol

I limped back out to the road, and who was there but the d**n game warden, i was dripping blood and soaking wet, but he still checked my license ???

At least these Loon fellas are enjoying Themselves.

Yup the loons will eat well   ::).

I watch them every year go nut's gobbling up the little 8-10" stockies they put in
They're nice birds but, there's enough competition without them adding to it :-\

I was out with my Dad today and fished 4 rivers in the area, We worked for the fish and each wound up with 4-5 (Rainbows 12-16").
The thing that gets aggravating after a while is;  we were the first ones at each spot we fished, but by the time we would leave ( 30min to and hour later) there were another 4-5 guys running down to fish---because they'd see the truck parked on the side of the road >:(

It's stockie season again ::) :D ......

Like they say Tumper, you just can't fix stupid, lol.
When i see a school of rainbows, in a little pool, all reason goes out the window.

I went back again this morning, and the fishing only gets better.

The I figure it I got about 2 more years of rough river wading and walking. After that I think I stick with boat, bank and hard water fishing. It's tough to get old...LOL
