« on: Mar 06, 2011, 07:27 AM »
I have a top secret spot,as we all do,where I catch perfect little native brookies and get a mess of fiddle heads. We like to fish it and have a nice shore lunch. What part of spring time fishing are you most looking forward to???With weather like this it is hard not to look forward to spring!

I can't wait till mid may to head north and troll a couple ponds in off the beaten path for big square tails and mud hens.  Floating the river and casting for rainbows and browns is hard to beat to

I always look forward to April 1st.. I've caught at least 3 native brookies out of my favorite brook (on opening day.) Been fishing it since I was 10. Then after a few weeks of that, I start to focus on the early spring pike and bass bite....
