Hey Ya'll the way it looks I'll be home sometime in Dec.  All I'm hoping for is to make it in time to fish the tournament with RG.  I'll need a few days to get all the gear together then its off and running.  Cannot wait to drill that first hole and watch a big slab crappie out on the Ice.

Take care,
Steve

Can't wait, Steve,
Hope to get some "scouting" in on Silver next week. Hopefully the summer traffic has slowed down ...I hate jet skis. The farm I hunt is "just over the hill" from Silver in Curriers. I'm gonna visit my friends out there and get a bit of fishing in over the next couple of months. I'm in the research mode!

The perch are starting to turn on around here. Cooler nights should drop the water temps a bit and really get things going.

My ice stuff is dusted off (again) and ready to fly (wife thinks/knows I'm nuts).

Your "bullet machine" is in and waiting for your return.

Stay safe,
RG

Bob, I can't wait either.  Thats good news to me that you are able to do a little scouting for us.  The species is Blue Gils and Crappies, Its the biggest 15 fish for weight.  I already sent in the entry fee and Paul and the guys are looking forward to meeting us.  Sounds like it's going to be a great time.  Hopefully they will fill all the entries and have the tournament in NY each year.  Maybe get a few "IS" and "MFF" guy's in it.

Looking forward to getting the "Bullet Machine" and start working it for groups.  The wood chucks are going to pay heck next summer.  Thanks again for taking the time and effort getting the equipment list together and stearing me in the right direction.  I truely appreciate it.  Hopefully we will have the opportunity to sit down at a bench over looking a nice Chuck field and put everything to use  8) 8)  Poor things won't know what happened  :'(

Well I have to run for now, Going flying again.  Take care of yourself.........Think ICE!!

As of this morning's email Steve was safe and doing well. His thoughts are,as always, about fishing and the upcoming Ice Fishing tourny on Silver lake.

We all wish him well,
Bob
