You know you have too much tackle when....

When the wife asks you how many tackle boxes you own and you run out of fingers counting..

Lets see, you have ice gear, open water gear, light tackle, heavy tackle, jigs, lures, trolling gear, gear that catches fish, gear that's worthless but you still carry it, gear you found.  Wow, that's a lot of gear.

When the shoulder strap on your main bag snaps under the weight!

One of the d rings broke on my main bass/pike bag a few weeks ago. I put the bag on a scale and it weighed 73lbs. The d ring was not rated for 73lbs  ;D

I contemplated that question after I inherited my grandfathers life collection of fishing gear.  So much cool stuff. Ironically I'm not much of a bass guy anymore, and he wasn't much of a trout guy, but it was the only thing I ever wanted of his.

When you pull up to your fishing spot, open the tailgate of your van and fishermen start coming at you with fists full of dollars ! :whistling: :whistling:
Or...when you turn an established bar/restaurant into a tackle shop by emptying your pockets on the bar ! ;D
