Went out with Walt and finally got into some walleye this weekend, most on jigs and Walt doing good just dragging a worm as he is a lazy jigger. He thought he got a snag on this critter till it started taking more line than the boat was moving. This catfish is bigger than it looks, i'd say at least 15 pounds, his St. Croix light action rod was almost touching the tip to the reel. Really good stuff see Walt fight this jumbo. PIcked up some JUMBO sunfish too, should get some rigs together and poke around after them as well. :-)

The fishing has been nothing but fantastic out there. Between last night and today I've covered quite a bit of water- the good news is there are fish almost everywhere and for the most part they're pretty cooperative. The past 12 hours of fishing time have provided 73 walleyes...gotta love those odds!

Her perch measured out at 14", had a few other dinks hit the sonars along with bass. Firetigress got her limit rippin sonars for the first time. Shes a natural.
