I fished solo this morning until the wind came up. There was bait pretty much everywhere I was. Lots of marks that look like walleyes too. I only caught one keeper and lost a few.

where can i find the eyes ive ben tryin the south shore for days an im on shore an its really difficult with the weeds i need at least one before fall bite haha no winter an have caught one since last fall  :-\

It will be tough from shore , or a boat for that matter for awhile kid ..... but the 81 bridge is most likely you're best bet  ;)

Like DD said, even fishing from a boat can be a challenge right now. A lot of the eyes are out over the deep water chasing huge schools of bait.

The fall fishing is right around the corner though. It might be worth it to try some spots with water flowing in (creeks and streams). There's less weeds there and sometimes the bait congregates in those spots.

Good luck fishing Sully.

Another beautiful morning on the lake.

I even found a few hungry eyes. They all had shad in their bellys.
