had a late dinner at pier 57. so didn't get out there until 10:30 p.m. had a great time  ;D. landed 1, lost 2 at the dock, 1 3 lb largemouth, and 1 pickeral in 45 minutes. I was way under dressed. the walleye was 19 3/4". the 2 fillets weighed 1 1/4 lbs. it will make a good dinner !!
nice deer hookinup !! ;D.   later...

Yeah I like it when it is flat too, you can hear them out there slurping on the bait. I like the calm nights way better when it is prime time.

Agreed! Certain spots seem to need wind but some of the best nights we ever had up there, it was flat calm...

That's why I never turn mine off. ;D

Actually, I simply just forget to turn my light off.....often. Other anglers have gotten upset with me for that reason. Whoops. Personally, I don't think it makes much of a difference at all. (Considering the small amount of time I've spent shore angling). ;)

Pricked 8, battled 6, petted 5, and set 2 free last night.  Only my third trip of the year... sure was easier to get out every night back when I was unemployed...  All fish came on the black/silver Challenger Jr. minnow, cranked slow with pauses on the north shore of Oneida Lake.  Oh, was only out for about an hour... might have to try it again tonight. No pics this time... sorry.

Shot a nice 7 point last night.  Actually screwed up on a much nicer deer and this 7 point just stands there asking for it so I gave it to him. Good to have one in the freezer. No time to trophy hunt for me this year, I'll take what comes by.  Time to fish now...snagger when are you starting..next week?
shut up and fish
