I never have and have not seen any one in New England that does, but it looks like a great way to get some distants... Would love to watch some one that knows what they are doing.

yea its the funnest way to river fish for trout...if u r looking for a new way to float fish a river try a centerpin...a little tricky to learn but once u get the technique down u will beat a flyrod anyday.

There are trout and rivers in CT that center pinning would be great in.Not fish that are as big as we were all catching last week, but big enough.

Nice fish Jim, I have yet to try Centerpinning or float. Looks like going to miss the action up at SR this spring seeing it looks like it is all happening now. I won't be up there to move my Camper to my land till the end of April. Bob

Hey Bob, I haven't tried it yet either, but it looks fun! I bet you'll still be able to get some in late April, I have a friend who finds them late into May some years.
